SNF FIRST RUN 2026

Participation Terms and Conditions for the SNF Run: First Run

Before registering at the SNF Run: First Run, you are kindly requested to read the Terms and Conditions as mentioned below, which you accept by submitting your application form.

All participants in the SNF Run: First Run, implemented through an exclusive grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), under the organizational supervision of the nonprofit “Regeneration & Progress”, henceforth collectively “Organizers” in collaboration with the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC), fully understand and discern that road race running is an activity testing physical and mental limits and can be dangerous for any person’s physical integrity. Every participant assumes and undertakes full responsibility regarding any physical issue and their ability to participate in the race under any weather conditions.

The Organizers have no responsibility in case of any physical, material, or moral damage that may occur by any cause, before, during, or after the road race run to participants, spectators, or other party involved in the race, while all race participants waive unconditionally any claims against the Organizers.

In case of medical treatment needed during the race, all participants authorize the Organizers to undertake any measures or actions needed, including hospital admittance, if it is rendered necessary for their safety.

Also, all participants consent to the use of their images, likeness, name, voice and words including whatever editing, cutting, or application of directorial, graphic, or other type of effect, on the television, radio, films, newspapers, magazines, internet, social media and other media of any kind, aiming to promote the run and its aims as well as the public benefit activities of the Organizers, and waive any claims against the Organizers.

Eligible for participation are adults and minors over the age of 10 years old, provided that they have submitted the consent form from their parents or legal guardians when registering online.

Registration is only possible by submitting an online application form through the link https://snfrun.randp.gr/ by 25.12.2025 at 23:59 night (Athens time). Applications submitted upon expiration of the above deadline will not be considered eligible by the Organizers. Any change to confirmed registrations (e.g. runner replacement, change on the race etc.) is only possible in exceptional cases, subject to notification and approval by the Organizers.

All registered participants will be given an official race number (a bib with the block number printed on it), a clear running bag, and an SNF Run shirt. For the sake of safety and smooth operation of the race, all runners are required to adhere to the starting block indicated on their block number. The bib is personal and may not be conveyed, transferred or be given to another runner without the Organizers’ approval.

The race packages will be picked up according to the Organizers’ instructions by presenting the bib number (in printed or digital form) and the ID or passport or driving license. Minor runners must pick up the race package accompanied by their parents/parental guardians upon presentation of their ID or passport or driving license.

Participation in the race will be permitted only to runners who have dully and timely submitted the online application form and have received the race pack prior to the race date. Participants should follow the instructions of the Organizers before, during and after the race. Any breach or non-compliance with the instructions and rules of the run will result in disqualification of the participant.

Payment of the participation fee is mandatory for all runners. The money raised by the runners will not be used to cover the productions costs of the SNF Run: First Run, which are fully covered by SNF, but will be donated to the nonprofit organization selected by the Organizers in support of their charitable activities.

The safety of runners and spectators is the highest priority of the Organizers. For this purpose, the Organizers are in close collaboration with the Hellenic Police, the Traffic Directorate of Attica, the involved Municipalities, the Hellenic Fire Service, the National Center for Emergency Assistance (EKAB) and the 1st Department of Orthopaedic Surgery Clinic of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens in an effort to enhance the safety and smooth operation of the run.

The Organizers reserve the right to make any modifications to the Terms and Conditions without prior notice to the runners. For this reason, you are kindly requested to visit this page regularly for any changes.
