The beloved SNF RUN: 2025 FIRST RUN from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), implemented in collaboration with the nonprofit Regeneration & Progress
The SNF FIRST RUN 2025 began a few minutes after the turn of the year, immediately after the fireworks show concluded, at 00:04.
The 3km race took place around the festively illuminated Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC).
Organizational supervision of the race is provided by the nonprofit Regeneration & Progress and the Department of Sports Excellence – Sports Excellence at the 1st Orthopaedic Surgery Clinic of the Medical School of the University of Athens. The race is organized in collaboration with the SNFCC.
«Panos & Cressida – Help the Children»
«Panos & Chressida – Help to Children» is a nonprofit founded in 2006 in memory of Panos Vardakas and Chressida Spahi to help children and young people facing serious health problems, violence, addiction, or abandonment and children living in remote areas by supporting education, skill-building, and social integration. The organization’s work focuses on supporting the construction and outfitting of schools, recreational spaces, and athletic facilities, and on organizing special performances for children and young people. All of the funds raised through the SNF RUN: 2025 FIRST RUN will go toward supporting the organization’s activities.
